Janet Suchevich is a self-taught artist. Janet's passion for art began at a young age, but it wasn't until 15 years ago, when her son gifted her an art set, that she took up painting seriously. She works primarily with acrylics, watercolors, and fluid art, finding painting to be a relaxing, peaceful, and rewarding!!

Ruth has pursued a variety of artistic and creative endeavors throughout the years, balancing her passion for art with the demands of daily life. Now retired, she have fully returned to her artistic practice, working with photography, collage, watercolor, gouache, acrylics, and mixed media, while also remaining open to the possibilities of performance art.

As a mixed media artist, writer, and vocalist, her work is driven by curiosity and a deep interest in problem-solving—exploring the intersections of organic and digital systems, light, and movement.

Jennifer J. Jensen (JJ) is a multi-talented individual hailing from Little Elm, Texas. Alongside her work as a Realtor, she is also an artist, paranormal researcher, and writer. JJ manages a small art booth at Third Monday Trade Days in McKinney, Texas, where she showcases and sells her hand-painted furniture and art on a monthly basis.

Growing up, JJ found joy in doodling, riding horses, and embarking on family historical trips across the US. Her art serves as her Zen, drawing inspiration from life's "art," including nature, pets, and themes of the "spooky" or gothic.

Jean has been creating art and poetry for as long as she can remember, viewing creativity as an essential part of life. Her work is experimental in nature, guided by intuition and a deep curiosity for materials and process. Working across multiple disciplines, they explore drawing, painting, sculpture, writing, and bookmaking.

She hold a B.A. in Art from Austin College, a Ph.D. in Creative Writing from the University of North Texas, and have completed extensive coursework toward an MFA in Sculpture. In 2006, she co-founded the Ghost Town Arts Collective alongside Heidi Rushing, Ellen Weaver, Cedra Wood, and Rhaine Murray, serving in a leadership role until 2020.

As a lifelong student of art and mindfulness, Krystal Skinner channels her passion into creating transformative experiences at ARTrageous art hub's monthly gatherings. Her artistic journey emerged from a background in music education, where she discovered the profound connection between creativity and emotional wellbeing.

Today, she guides participants through workshops that combine creativity with contemplative practices. Through her involvement with ARTrageous, Krystal fosters a nurturing space where community members can explore their artistic potential. Between sessions, she develops new techniques in her home studio and practices mindful creativity. Her mission is to spark creative confidence in others, fostering an environment where artistic expression flows naturally.

Aaron Bucy's artistic journey is nothing short of inspiring. A testament to the enduring power of creativity. Originally from East Texas, Aaron is a self-taught artist who began his journey with pencil drawings during high school. He even served as the comic artist for his school newspaper, The Drumbeat.

"In my younger years, I primarily worked with colored pencils, but I wanted to create something on canvas that felt more 'legitimate.' To me, oil paint has the distinction of being the medium associated with masterpieces by artists like Leonardo and other works found in old-world museums," Aaron shares.

After a 28-year hiatus, Aaron has reignited his passion for art, diving into oil on canvas. His minimalist portraits have captivated many, and he has exciting plans to expand into Texas-themed landscapes and explore the world of abstract art.

Erin, the creative force behind Edyn Rashae Studios, has been a professional makeup and fabrication artist for over 12 years. She crafts contemporary folk art that reflects her German, Irish, and Scottish ancestry. She sculpts, molds, and paints immersive pieces, with a deep fascination for the macabre and Appalachian folklore traditions. Enamored with Halloween since childhood, she gravitates toward creating masks that explore identity, transformation, and protection. For Erin, mask-making is both an artistic passion and a therapeutic outlet, shaped by her experience with having multiple autoimmune diseases and being neurodivergent.
